Kazakhstan’s Grand Mobile Reaches 60 Million Players

Kazakhstani IT company Grand Mobile launched its mobile role-playing game Grand Mobile at the end of 2022, and it has now attracted over 60 million players. The company’s founder and CTO, Roman Lineytsev, shared this milestone during a government meeting in Kazakhstan.

In the fall of 2024, the company launched two European servers in English, where monthly revenue has been increasing by 200%. Within the first two months after launch, more than 1.3 million new users registered. The game reached the top 3 in the Play Market rankings in Poland and Romania just two weeks after its release.

According to Lineytsev, these achievements were made possible thanks to government support and the favorable conditions created at Astana Hub.

In 2024, the global gaming market reached $188 billion, with minimal overall growth over the past two years, indicating increased competition and a slowdown in new player acquisition. Despite this, Grand Mobile generated $20 million in revenue in 2024, with a monthly growth rate of 10–25%. More than 60% of its revenue comes from international markets.
