A participant of Astana Hub, MoonAI develops an AI agent platform that enables businesses to automate sales, customer support, and operational processes. Earlier this year, the startup secured pre-seed funding from international entrepreneur and business angel Oskar Hartmann, who invested through a standard SAFE agreement at a company valuation of $5 million. The investment amounted to $50,000.
Prior to this round, MoonAI had also raised $50,000 from venture fund ACTIVAT VC, $75,000 from Uzbekistan’s IT Park Ventures, and $200,000 from Most VC.
Founded by Askhat Adkhamov, MoonAI provides businesses with an accessible way to implement AI agents without the need to build in-house machine learning teams or complex technical infrastructure. The platform is specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises and is already being used by hundreds of companies across Central Asia.
The recognition at CEVF 2026 highlights MoonAI’s rapid growth and reflects the increasing competitiveness of Kazakhstan’s AI ecosystem on the regional stage. With strong investor backing, growing market adoption, and a clear focus on practical business automation, the startup is positioning itself as one of the region’s emerging leaders in applied artificial intelligence.
