The international competition enabled each participant to demonstrate their algorithmic and analytical abilities through international-level ICPC-style problems. Following the online selection stage held on February 28, the final took place in an offline format, where the region’s best developers gathered in one hall for the decisive round.
According to the final results, where participants demonstrated maximum performance, the winner of the competition was Farhod Khakimjon (Tajikistan), second place went to Aibar Kuanyshbay (Kazakhstan), and third place was awarded to Altair Ashurov (Kazakhstan).
The total prize fund of 3 million tenge was distributed as follows: 1.5 million for first place, 1 million for second place, and 500,000 for third place.
“I am very happy that I was able to demonstrate my skills at such a high level and meet the best programmers from neighboring countries. This championship inspires me to keep growing and apply algorithmic knowledge in real-world projects,” said the winner of the championship, Farhod Khakimjon.

A special focus this year was placed on the expert program. Representatives of international technology companies took part in the final, including Meta senior developer Bakytzhan Baizhikenov, CEO of AGI Lab and Khan Group Zhomart Sadykov, VP for Talent at Higgsfield AI Dalida Yerkuieva, Google senior developer Aman Utemuratov, Booking developer Narikbi Maksut, and TON Core representative Aleksandr Kirsanov. The experts evaluated solutions, shared experience, and provided guidance on career opportunities in global companies.
“The Central Asia Programming Championship demonstrated an incredible level of participant preparation and became a true platform for knowledge exchange among the region’s top IT talent. We are proud to have brought together so many strong specialists and created a space for professional dialogue with international experts,” said Adina Magavina, Director of the Alem.ai Foundation.
Organizers note that the championship became not only an intellectual competition but also an effective platform for developing the regional IT community. Participants had the opportunity to test their competencies, attract the attention of international companies, and establish professional connections that may lead to employment and involvement in global technology projects.
The championship was organized by the Alem.ai Foundation, the Kazakhstan Federation of Sports Programming, and the international innovation cluster Astana Hub, with the support of Higgsfield.ai and AGI Lab.
