The national artificial intelligence platform launched in Kazakhstan has already made it possible to introduce AI agents into the work of government bodies. Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev stated that Kazakhstani citizens will now be able to use such assistants on platforms such as eGov and ChatGPT to obtain public services.
By the end of 2026, the ministry plans to develop 50 AI agents in cooperation with all government agencies. These agents are expected to assist around 7 million citizens. The ministry has analyzed the most time-consuming processes in interactions between the state and citizens and aims to delegate these tasks to digital assistants.
Dmitry Mun explained:
“Already this year, eGov Mobile will introduce the option to choose AI agents. Some of them are already ready and at an advanced stage—12 agents in total. The first AI agent available today has an accuracy rate of 75 percent and serves as an assistant for obtaining government services. To improve its accuracy, staff at Public Service Centers submit hundreds of questions every day to identify areas where the agent still performs poorly, allowing us to further train and refine it.”
