Tomorrow School is Kazakhstan’s first school to adopt a peer-to-peer learning model, where students develop digital skills through hands-on practice and collaborative work. The initiative is designed to train competitive talent for the digital economy.
To date, 387 students are currently enrolled, including participants from Kazakhstan’s regions. Since the school launched, 11 selection rounds have been held, and the total number of applications has exceeded 18,000.
The core training program lasts 18 months, followed by six months of AI specialization, allowing each participant to choose an individual learning pathway. Available tracks include AI engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, GameDev, artificial intelligence, software development, and more. The program is delivered in a flexible 24/7 format, enabling students to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule.
Tomorrow School students continue to demonstrate strong outcomes: they participate in Astana Hub programs, win technology competitions, and receive employment offers. Several students have already secured investment and are working with international companies.
Among the success stories is a team led by student Amir Zhakyshev, which received a $50,000 soft commitment from Astana Hub Ventures through the AI’preneurs program. Other Tomorrow School students are already employed by international companies and national corporations, including IT firms in the Middle East and Kazakhstan’s banking sector.
For talented students from the regions, additional support is available in the form of free accommodation. Tomorrow School opens the door to IT and AI for everyone—regardless of age, education, or prior experience. Applications are open until February 13.
