Based on the outcomes of the regional semifinals, 20 startups from across the country advanced to the final of Digital Qazaqstan Battle. Among them are: aitomaton (Kostanay), Lady Taxi (Atyrau), SanEduPortal (Semey), Kasibi Taxi (Uralsk), LoyaBonus (Ust-Kamenogorsk), Okushy (Kokshetau), CortexAI (Kyzylorda), Proji (Aktobe), zhihaz.kz (Konaev), SmetaHub (Zhezkazgan), gro.now (Almaty), Reco (Taraz), AR Sana (Astana), Qalam (Shymkent), Ai-mektep (Turkistan), JolScan (Karaganda), Mathlab (Pavlodar), Help Hand (Taldykorgan), KenDala (Aktau), and Numerus (Petropavlovsk).
“Digital Qazaqstan Battle is an opportunity to demonstrate that strong technology projects emerge not only in the largest cities, but also across the regions of Kazakhstan. During the semifinals, we saw startups with ready products, initial sales, and ambitions to scale to international markets. The final in Shymkent will provide a platform for the best teams to present their solutions to investors and the broader technology ecosystem of the country,” said Tanat Uskembayev, Managing Director of Astana Hub.
Among the winners of the regional rounds is the startup JolScan, which is developing a solution for monitoring road infrastructure and managing parking systems using computer vision technologies. The system automatically detects road surface defects based on data collected from city cameras and mobile devices, significantly reducing the cost of manual road inspections.
“Winning the semifinal validates our ‘smart city’ concept, which integrates road infrastructure monitoring and parking management into a unified ecosystem. For us, this is confirmation that an innovative approach — such as using existing urban infrastructure as mobile sensors — can become an effective tool for the digital transformation of cities,” noted Rustem Kadyrov, co-founder of JolScan.
Another regional winner is the startup aitomaton, which is developing a platform for automating business processes and communications using AI agents.
“We are building a platform that brings together AI agents and people within a single workspace for businesses. It includes key tools such as CRM, a task tracker, service booking, an omnichannel messenger, telephony, and AI agents for handling calls and chats. Reaching the final of Digital Qazaqstan Battle is a great opportunity to present this concept to a wide technology audience. In the final, we aim to compete for a top-three position and find new partners to further develop the project,” said Edgar Volodykin, CPO and co-founder of aitomaton.
The final of the national startup competition will take place on March 27, 2026, in Shymkent, on the stage of the Digital Qazaqstan forum. Finalists will present their projects to a jury, investors, and representatives of the country’s technology ecosystem.
The winner of the competition will receive KZT 10,000,000, second place will be awarded KZT 5,000,000, and third place KZT 3,000,000. A People’s Choice Award of KZT 1,000,000 will also be presented. The jury will evaluate projects based on market traction, team quality, scalability, and investment attractiveness.
