Astana Hub announces the opening of applications for the sixth cohort of Startup Garage, an intensive incubation programme for early-stage IT startups.
Applications are open until 31 July 2026 via the link.
Startup Garage is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to turn their ideas into market-ready products. Over the course of three months, participants test the viability of their hypotheses, study target audience needs, build a sustainable business model, and achieve their first sales.
“Our goal is to help startups move from idea to first sales as quickly as possible. We create an environment where entrepreneurs can test their hypotheses in practice, work with mentors, and gain the tools needed to scale,” said Ashimbek Abilgazinov, Director of the Business Programmes Office at Astana Hub.
The programme is delivered entirely online, enabling startups from any region of Kazakhstan to join. Participants will engage in weekly workshops, attend lectures by leading IT experts, and receive one-on-one guidance from startup trackers.
Over the three months, teams will master the Lean Startup, HADI, and SMART methodologies, develop market analysis skills, learn to leverage NoCode tools, and build effective sales processes. The cohort will culminate in a Demo Day, where top projects present their solutions to potential investors.
Across the previous five cohorts of the incubation programme, Astana Hub received over 1,430 applications, with 347 startups taking part. During their time in the programme, participating teams raised approximately USD 574,300 in investment and generated over KZT 390 million in commercial sales.
Eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older;
- Possess an Individual Identification Number (IIN) and an Electronic Digital Signature (EDS);
- The project must feature an IT component;
- The project must be at the MCI (or MVI) or MVP stage.
Detailed information regarding eligibility and application procedures for the sixth cohort of Startup Garage is available on the official Astana Hub platform. Spots are limited.
