Kazakh Startups Carve Path to Global Markets
Digital solutions developed in Kazakhstan have caught the attention of the UK government, particularly those used in national testing systems and public service delivery.

One such innovation is a detector that identifies exam candidates using micro earpieces—a common method of cheating. In Kazakhstan, the device is currently used to monitor individuals taking the national driving license exam. The UK’s Ministries of Education and Transport have expressed interest in the technology.
Yersultan Yermanov, founder of the startup:
“Our solution is 12 times more affordable than other products submitted in the tender, while matching them in quality.”
The international tech park Astana Hub showcased four Kazakh startups at London Tech Week, aiming to demonstrate their global potential and attract venture capital.
Kuralay Baimenova, representative of Astana Hub:
“Participants are showing strong interest in Kazakhstan, our IT park, and the tech ecosystem as a whole.”
London Tech Week is a major international platform that connects startups with investors. This year, the event gathered around 30,000 participants from 125 countries worldwide.
