Astana Hub is launching the international acceleration program Central Eurasia Market Entry in Almaty. The program is geared toward mature tech startups from Central Eurasian countries that are ready to scale their businesses and enter the Kazakhstan market.
Driven by the growth of the digital economy, Kazakhstan is consistently strengthening its position as a regional technology hub, creating favorable conditions to attract international innovative companies. Central Eurasia Market Entry will serve as a new tool to integrate foreign startups into Kazakhstan's ecosystem, providing them with opportunities for rapid market entry, partnership building, and business scaling.
The 12-week program is designed for startups at the Product-Market Fit (PMF) and Scaling stages. Companies that already have initial sales, proven market demand, or sustainable growth, and are ready to adapt their products to the needs of the Central Eurasian market, are invited to apply. The program targets startups from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Turkey, China, and Mongolia. It will be conducted in both Russian and English, making it highly accessible to international teams.
Following a competitive selection process, the 15 most promising international startups will be chosen to participate in the program.
Participants can expect comprehensive support, including:
- Mentorship from experienced trackers and international experts;
- Support and guidance when entering the Kazakhstan market;
- Development of key product and business metrics;
- Access to corporate partners and the regional startup ecosystem;
- Opportunities to attract investment through Astana Hub Ventures;
- Free workspace at Almaty Hub;
- Free accommodation in a co-living space for two team members for the entire duration of the program.
The program will also allow international teams to fully immerse themselves in the ecosystem of Almaty—Kazakhstan’s largest city, where advanced technological infrastructure meets a comfortable urban environment and proximity to scenic mountain landscapes.
Special emphasis is placed on practical market engagement. Startups will be able to launch pilot projects with local companies, build partnerships, and adapt their solutions to local business requirements. This hands-on approach will enable participants to transition from product testing to securing their first commercial contracts while still in the program.
The program will culminate in a Demo Day, where participants will pitch their projects to leading venture capital funds, business angels, corporate partners, and potential investors. The best startups will have the chance to be shortlisted by Astana Hub Ventures and secure investments for further scaling.
