Over 6,000 Tech Specialists Trained Under the Tech Orda Program

Kazakhstanis are receiving free tech training as part of the Tech Orda program, an initiative by the Ministry of Digital Development, reports 24KZ. Interest in the program continues to grow—while 18,000 people applied last year, the number of applicants has doubled this year. Over the three years of the program, more than 6,000 tech specialists have been trained.

Daniyar Kasenov, Head of an IT School:

- Cybersecurity is among the top three global challenges, and Kazakhstan is no exception. Addressing this issue requires significant focus. Our school initially began as a startup, but with the support of Astana Hub, we can now provide free training to first-class specialists in this critical field. The program's impact is evident in its contribution to tech education and the development of skilled professionals across Kazakhstan. To date, 91 IT schools across the country have trained over 6,000 students—not only in major cities but also in regional areas. High employment rates among graduates further highlight the program's success.

Aruzhan Duisenbekova, Representative of the Tech Orda Program Administration:

- Statistics show that 88% of graduates have secured employment, with an average salary of 500,000 tenge. The program is designed to develop human capital in the tech sector, covering a wide range of priority areas such as web development, 3D design and applications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and algorithms, mobile app development, and more. Training duration varies by course but typically starts at six months.

The Tech Orda program demonstrates significant progress in addressing the growing demand for skilled tech professionals in Kazakhstan, offering accessible education in both urban and rural regions.
