The Ambassador of the State of Qatar visited Astana Hub

As part of the meeting that took place in the technopark with Abdulaziz Sultan Al-Rumaihi, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kazakhstan and Rashid Saad Al-Muhannadi, the second secretary of the Embassy, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Qatari company Snoonu and the Alem programming school. The guests of honor were presented the programs of the technopark and conducted a tour of the territory.

Snoonu is R&D laboratorie of Astana Hubone and of the fastest-growing IT-startups in Qatar. It provides its own application - fast delivery services to private individuals, home businesses, and corporations. The startup was based on accounting for the needs of Qataris, but now it is turning into a platform that offers multiple services in a single Superapp application.

Alem School - a partner of Astana Hub, school of programming, where the educational process is built on the joint work of students, the solution of real tasks, and the implementation of team projects.

  • This partnership will support both nations vision Qatar & Kazakhstan to build knowledge based economy by embracing the innovation, - said Hamad Mubark Al-Hajri, head of Snoonu. - As Regional technology player definitely we can support this vision by bringing the knowledge &  developing the talents.

The memorandum will allow future interns and Alem School students to work at Snoonu. In addition, it helps to implement joint IT projects.
