Participants discussed the factors driving interest in Kazakhstan among international specialists, entrepreneurs and technology companies, including the ecosystem, entrepreneurial environment, quality of life, access to regional markets and opportunities for scaling projects.

We are developing tools to attract IT talent, including the Digital Nomad Visa, Digital Nomad Residency and e-Residency, while also building a comprehensive infrastructure for life and work, from access to public services to modern urban solutions. This allows us not only to attract specialists, but also to strengthen human capital through knowledge exchange, team development and the formation of new competencies. As a result, a sustainable foundation is being created for the growth of technology entrepreneurship and IT exports,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.
The speakers shared their personal experience of living and working in Kazakhstan, spoke about the development of their projects, career decisions, relocation and interaction with Kazakhstan’s technology ecosystem. Special attention was given to the development of AI competencies and Kazakhstan’s role as an entry point to the markets of Central Eurasia.
“Over five years in Kazakhstan, I have seen how much demand has grown here for human capital and digital transformation. During this time, I have not only built my career here, but also started a family, so for me Kazakhstan is no longer just a market, but a place with which I connect my future. Together with my team, we implement projects for the country’s largest companies, including Kazakhtelecom JSC, Halyk Bank, Magnum and other market leaders. Our IT services are already present in foreign markets, from Uzbekistan to the United States. The Digital Nomad program has played an important role along this path: when the government and Astana Hub remove bureaucratic barriers, specialists can focus on technology, strategy and innovation.
