A Turkish-Kazakhstani business IT forum is currently taking place in Astana

The largest international technoparks - Bilkent CYBERPARK and Astana Hub - have organized a business IT forum, during which about 50 IT companies from Turkey and Kazakhstan hold B2B meetings.

The forum aims to develop business relations between the two countries business communities and strengthen cooperation in trade and investment. Askar Zhambykin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted in his welcoming speech that Turkey is one of our country's most priority trade, economic and investment partners.

Over the course of two days, April 27th and 28th, Kazakhstani and Turkish business delegations have been given the opportunity for individual negotiations for personal meetings, discussions of collaboration prospects, and partnership.

"We have organized B2B meetings to strengthen our cooperation with Kazakhstani companies. We held a similar event in Almaty. We expect certain results from the forum in the form of new contracts or projects with local companies, which will create conditions for long-term cooperation," said Faruk Inaltekin, CEO of Bilkent CYBERPARK.

Negotiations are held by business categories: software development, IoT, portal development, energy monitoring and control, automation, solutions for smart cities, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile applications, fintech, digital transformation, productivity, smart home systems, defense industry, geographic information solutions, IT, electronic document management, e-signature solutions, and healthcare.

"We recently visited Bilkent CYBERPARK with a large delegation led by Minister Bagdat Mussin, which occupies an important place in Turkey's technology entrepreneurship ecosystem. Today's forum is further confirmation of the development of our partnership within the memorandum signed at the Digital Bridge forum. I am very pleased to welcome our Turkish colleagues and strengthen our cooperation," said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub, during the presentation on the domestic technopark ecosystem.

Recall that on September 28, 2022, at the Digital Bridge international forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the technoparks of Turkic countries - Bilkent Cyberpark (Turkey), Astana Hub (Kazakhstan), Sabah Lab (Azerbaijan), PVT (Kyrgyzstan), Bilisim Vadisi (Turkey), IT Park Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan). This agreement aims to jointly develop the ICT and innovation ecosystem in the region. It was concluded within the framework of the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
