“We are pleased to announce that Carbide Ventures, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital fund, and Shukhrat Ibragimov, a prominent entrepreneur from Kazakhstan, have invested in zypl.ai. With this bridge round ($5.5 million at an $80 million valuation), the round is now closed. Next: Series A,” shared zypl.ai founder Azizjon Azimi on Instagram.
zypl.ai is a participant of Astana Hub, a portfolio company of Astana Hub Ventures, and a graduate of the international Silkway Accelerator program. The startup continues to demonstrate sustainable growth and strengthen its position among the region’s most promising AI companies.
The investment marks an important milestone in zypl.ai’s development and reflects strong confidence in the company’s technology platform and its rapid international expansion. The proceeds from the bridge round will be used to scale the company’s presence in key markets and deploy next-generation synthetic data solutions for banks, developed using its proprietary zGAN model.
zypl.ai has developed its own generative model, zGAN, designed to work with outlier synthetic data, enabling more accurate predictive AI models under conditions of macroeconomic volatility. Two scientific papers based on this technology have been published on arXiv, and the research findings have also been presented at the NeurIPS conference. The zGAN synthetic data generator is integrated into Lucid, zypl.ai’s no-code platform that enables financial institutions to independently develop and deploy AI models.
It is worth noting that the startup previously secured $2 million in strategic investment. The funding was provided by Hofiz Shahidi, a well-known entrepreneur and investor in the financial services industry.
