As the title partner of GovTech Camp, inDrive continues the collaboration established during Decentrathon 5.0. Throughout the program, the company's experts will support participating teams at every stage—from defining problem statements to validating final solutions—through thematic group sessions and one-on-one mentoring. This initiative reflects inDrive's long-term commitment to strengthening Kazakhstan's technology ecosystem in partnership with the public sector.
The core stage of the program will run from July 6 to mid-September 2026. Forty of the strongest teams selected from the inDrive track of Decentrathon 5.0 will take part in the incubation. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will be based in Astana, working alongside leading industry experts to develop practical technology solutions.
The teams will focus on creating solutions for inDrive, inVision U, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Astana City Administration (Akimat).
"Today, it is critically important for the government not only to identify strong teams and promising ideas, but also to create an environment where these ideas can be refined into pilot-ready solutions for government agencies and public institutions. This format brings together the creativity of developers, the expertise of business, and the real needs of the public sector. It aligns with Kazakhstan's priorities for advancing artificial intelligence and digital technologies while fostering a new culture of implementing practical innovations," said Rostislav Konyashkin, First Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.
Another key focus of the incubation program will be the development of technological solutions for the inDrive ecosystem and inVision U. Participating teams will work on projects with practical applications within the structure of the international company.
"Decentrathon attracted outstanding teams with compelling ideas and well-developed hypotheses. GovTech Camp is the natural continuation of that journey: 12 weeks, real customers, and access to an environment that is often unavailable outside the capital—one where teams can take a solution from prototype to pilot. Our goal is not only to help build working products but also to support the growth of the teams themselves—to teach participants how to work with real data, real constraints, and the logic of government structures and processes rather than in isolation. We will provide strategic guidance, technical expertise, and promote a culture of fair, practical innovation. This is an investment in people, not just technology," said Yuriy Misnik, CTO of inDrive.
A strong emphasis will also be placed on comprehensive team support throughout GovTech Camp. Participants will gain access to an expert network, mentorship, technical infrastructure, and the opportunity to refine their solutions through direct collaboration with potential customers. This approach will enable teams not only to strengthen the technical quality of their projects but also to better understand the requirements of government institutions, large organizations, and the broader market for deploying digital products.
Teams will receive technical assignments directly from representatives of inDrive, inVision U, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, and the Astana City Administration, allowing them to begin working on real-world challenges from the very first days of the program.
At the conclusion of the program, the best projects will showcase their solutions at AI & Digital Bridge 2026, the largest technology forum in Central Asia. The event aims to accelerate the development of Kazakhstan's domestic digital technologies, shift the focus from short-term hackathon competitions to sustainable technology products, and further strengthen the country's IT ecosystem.
