Digital Qazaqstan Battle is a platform where entrepreneurs showcase real technological solutions validated by the market. Each region and city of republican significance will nominate one startup that will represent its territory in the final of the competition. Projects at the MVP stage with initial sales and registered as legal entities are eligible to participate.
“For the first time, we are launching a national startup battle in the format of an interregional competition. Each region will hold its own semifinal, select the strongest project, and then in Shymkent, the country’s best startups will meet in the final. For us, this is not just a competition — it is a way to demonstrate the strength of the regional ecosystem, provide entrepreneurs from all parts of the country with equal opportunities, and bring local projects to the national stage,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.
The competition will be held in several consecutive stages. After the application period closes, projects will undergo eligibility screening, followed by regional battles in March across all regions and cities of republican significance, where the jury will select one finalist from each territory. The best startups will meet on March 27, 2026, in Shymkent, where the final of the national competition will take place on the stage of the Digital Qazaqstan forum.
The winner of the battle will receive KZT 10,000,000, second place will be awarded KZT 5,000,000, and third place KZT 3,000,000. A People’s Choice Award of KZT 1,000,000 will also be presented.
The jury will evaluate projects based on market traction, team quality, scalability, and investment attractiveness. Participation in the competition is free of charge. In addition to the opportunity to receive financial support, finalists will gain access to the forum’s broad audience, as well as the attention of investors and representatives of the country’s technology ecosystem.
