Participants from more than 40 countries will have the opportunity to compete for grants and present their projects at the global finale in Silicon Valley, USA. The program provides not only experience but also real resources to launch startups, including a grand prize of $100,000, access to international mentors, investors, and technology partners such as Microsoft and AMD.
In Kazakhstan, the national selection process included application submissions with idea descriptions, video pitches, and in-person presentations held within the framework of Digital Qazaqstan, where finalists received expert evaluation of their startups. The best teams were given the opportunity to further develop their solutions and present them to leading national experts and investors.
“Red Bull Basement is a unique opportunity for young innovators not only to showcase their ideas at the national level but also to receive support to enter the global stage. We are glad that Digital Qazaqstan is becoming a platform for such initiatives that bring together talented youth and the technology community. These programs help unlock the potential of new innovation leaders and contribute to the development of the country’s digital economy,” emphasized Tanat Uskembaev, Managing Director of Astana Hub.

Other projects included voice-based digital assistants, platforms for automated engineering network design, and livestock health monitoring systems.
