TechCrunch Disrupt is one of the largest technology conferences in the world, which is held in New York, San Francisco and some major European cities. Every year, the TechCrunch team selects the most promising startups from thousands of candidates around the world. This year, TC Top Picks Disrupt 2020 includes 26 startup projects.

WebTotem startup received the TechCrunch Top Picks nomination in the field of Security + Privacy. Two more startups entered this category: Allthenticate (USA) and Hummingbirds AI (Australia).

“It was a surprise for us when TechCrunch selected our startup in TC Top Picks out of thousands of applications. We are now receiving very good PR support in the American market. For a startup, this is a good opportunity to get new connections in the USA and get acquainted with leading foreign funds. Now we are actively preparing. Despite the fact that this year everything will be held in an online format, a large number of guests are expected. This is indicative for a startup from Kazakhstan, since we belong to the category of DeepTech,” says Olzhas Satiev, the founder of the startup.

The WebTotem startup is a proprietary product of the TSARKA Oil Company. According to Olzhas Satiev, the product was developed using the best international practices in ensuring information security. WebTotem was accelerated in the leading European accelerator Startup Wise Guys, and was also selected as one of the promising Cybersecurity startups according to Vestbee.
