In 2025, the fitness startup 1Fit took the 15th place in the ranking of TOP employers in Kazakhstan according to the IT community.

At the end of January People Consulting and Digital Business have launched a second survey of the IT community to compile a ranking of top and anti-top companies. The respondents were asked to assess the attractiveness of employers in the IT industry in the labor market of Kazakhstan.

A total of 1,343 people participated in the survey – these are developers, product and project managers, HR and senior management. 60% of the respondents have a grade of middle or senior, and the average age of the majority of respondents (73%) is from 22 to 36 years.

The respondents also learned which sources of information they use when choosing an employer. Once again, the recommendations and reviews of those who already work (or worked before) in this company remained the most popular – 26% of respondents noted this source. This is followed by the company's reputation in the market (25%), the impression of communicating with the HR unit (16%), and personal experience using the product (13%). Respondents were also interested in the company's profiles on specialized platforms (6%) and the company's official website (3%) – last year these categories were not on the list.

If we talk about the factors (several could be noted) that influence the choice of an employer, then professional development turned out to be the most important this time – 17% of respondents mentioned it. The team and atmosphere (15%), financial stability (14%) and the opportunity to work remotely (14%) are also important for applicants.

In addition, the respondents were asked what factors could cause them to quit. The leader in this category is the toxic atmosphere in the team. For this reason, 21% of employees may leave their jobs. The next most popular indicators are the lack of growth in base salary (20%), professional development (15%) and career growth (13%).

In 2024, 1Fit was ranked 20th, and within a year the company was able to rise 5 positions higher. This is the result of a strong team, culture, values and a product that the company is proud of.
