On November 8, Abai IT Valley hosted the Digital Abai IT Forum, which brought together more than 150 participants — IT professionals, business representatives, startups and students. The Forum has become a unique platform for discussing key technological trends, sharing experiences and presenting the latest developments.

The forum program included presentations by leading experts who touched on the most relevant areas in the IT industry: 

• Dias Zhumagaliev, Ambassador of FlutterFlow in Central Asia and the CIS, freelancer in the areas of No Code and AI Code. In his lecture on "Noucode 2.0: how AI is changing the game for independent developers," he described how artificial intelligence simplifies the process of creating digital products and opens up new opportunities for developers. 

• Alexander Mezin, Director of the KBTU Multimedia Technology Center, senior researcher at Gamelab KBTU and Google expert, shared the case of DPG Sim and told how gaming technologies find their application in educational projects.

Asset Mazov, senior lecturer at the Department of ITN at Alikhan Bokeikhan University and methodologist of educational programs at Abai IT Valley, touched on key aspects of the application of artificial intelligence in his lecture "AI is the key to the future".

The forum also included discussions on the following topics: 

• Modern development technologies and their practical application; 

• Prospects of game development in educational initiatives; 

• Artificial intelligence and machine learning; 

• Support for startups and their development in the region.

Digital Abai IT Forum offered participants not only theory, but also the opportunity to prove themselves in practice in two unique contests:

A business idea contest where participants presented their projects in front of an expert jury in just 4 minutes. The prize fund amounted to 1,500,000 tenge, distributed among the three winners: •

1st place- Biogumus — 750,000 ₸ •

 2nd place- Pleep — 450,000 ₸ •

 3rd place- TheyAre — 300,000 ₸

The participants presented innovative projects in the field of robotics. The competition attracted the attention of not only professionals, but also students who demonstrated a high level of training. The prize fund in the amount of 600,000 tenge was distributed as follows: •

 1st place- IT BURGER Team — 300,000 ₸ •

 2nd place - AVANGARD Team — 200,000 ₸ •

 3rd place- NIS Team - 100,000 ₸

One of the main areas of attraction of the forum was the Startup Alley, where the best projects of the region were presented. The guests could get acquainted with innovative solutions in the field of AI, game development, robotics and other areas. For many participants, this was an excellent opportunity to establish business contacts and discuss prospects for cooperation.

Digital Abai IT Forum showed the huge potential of the region in the field of IT and technology. The forum became a place where participants not only shared their knowledge, but also were inspired to new projects. The support of initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence, startups and robotics proves that Abai IT Valley strives to become a leader in the technological development of Kazakhstan.
