On September 27, 2024, the Jaiq Hackathon: Oil & Gas Digitalization in HSE was held in Uralsk, dedicated to the development of digital solutions in the field of safety, labor protection and ecology (HSE) for the oil and gas industry. They evaluated the projects proposed by the teams, focusing on their innovativeness and potential for implementation in the oil and gas industry.

The winner of the hackathon was the Zerek Vision project, which, with the help of intelligent panels and cameras, reduces the likelihood of incidents, injuries and deaths in the fields. This project was highly appreciated for its contribution to improving safety at production facilities and was awarded a prize fund of 4,000,000 tenge.

The presentation by Munira Tauekelova, Chief Manager of the Astana Hub Regional Development Office, aroused great interest among the audience. In her speech, she spoke about the possibilities of artificial intelligence in various industries and invited participants to participate in the upcoming republican hackathon Decentrathon 2.0, emphasizing the importance of their contribution to the development of digital solutions.

The event demonstrated the high level of professionalism and creativity of the participants, as well as the significant potential of digitalization to solve urgent problems in the oil and gas industry. The best developments were awarded prizes and were given the opportunity for further implementation at enterprises in the oil and gas sector.

The winners of the hackathon were invited to Jaiq AI Incubator to further develop their startups.
