On May 24, 2025, the regional finals of Technovation Girls Kazakhstan took place in Astana, where 238 girls aged 8 to 18 showcased tech-driven solutions designed to make a difference in the world. Among the jury were representatives from Astana Hub — Managing Director Valeria Tyo and Director of the Office of Technology Centers Anarbek Utegulov.

Following the evaluations, six outstanding teams advanced to the international semifinals and will proudly represent Kazakhstan among participants from 69 countries worldwide. Astana Hub also awarded a special prize to the Bolis App team for their thoughtful and innovative approach to addressing mental health issues among teens. The winners received access to a 3-month startup entrepreneurship program hosted by Astana Hub.

The Bolis App was developed by a team of teenagers — Zhanaiym Korpbayeva, Nazerke Kazhmuratova, Aizere Kalambai, Azel Kabdulla, and Aruana Kasabekova — united by the idea of creating a safe space where young people can express their emotions without fear or judgment. Their mentor was Ayaulym Ayaganova.
