On November 8, 2024, the first forum on financial technologies and artificial intelligence "Zhambyl FinAI Forum" was held in Taraz, in which the main organizers were Zhambyl Hub in partnership with the International Taraz Innovation Institute. FinAI Forum 2024 is the first major event in the region, bringing together data analytics, artificial intelligence and the financial sector. 

The forum consisted of a panel session, as well as 3 key presentations from invited experts from Almaty and Astana. The speakers of the panel session, the theme of which was "Personnel for the future of IT: demand, expectations, reality", were:

• Ilyas Kamalovich – Director of the Department of Business Processes and Digital Transformation, Kazphosphate LLP

• Iptildaev B. T. – Director of the Zhambyl branch of BCC Bank

• Pavel Struchalin – Managing Director of the IT Development Center, General Director of BCC-HUB LLP

• Bayandin Marat Asylbekovich - Vice President of the Taraz Innovation Institute named after Sh. Murtaza

• Beibut Zhanturin, CEO OF Prosperpay

Experts such as:

• Aisultan Sadykbek, CEO OF FinData - “Karzhylai maksatty Jasandy Intellect komegimen kalai tiimdi zhosparlimyz?”

• Turarov Bekzat, Middle Data Analyst, AO KMF - “The Magic of Data: how data affects our future”

Within the framework of the forum, the final of the annual ITII Hackathon was held, where the main sponsor was BankCentrCredit, allocating a prize fund of 500,000 tenge. 15 of the submitted 50 teams made it to the finals, showing their achievements of the mobile application for the bank.

The hackathon winners were the teams:

1st place – Hack Hack It, winning 250,000 tenge

2nd place – Double U, winning 150,000 tenge

3rd place – Akatsuki, winning 100,000 tenge

This forum has become a guide for many young IT professionals who want to connect their professional path with financial technologies.
