We invite you to the official opening of Global Game Jam 2026!

We'll get together to get to know each other, form teams, and be the first to learn the jam theme.
The opening ceremony will take place on January 26, 2026 at the Astana Hub.

REQUIRED STEPS FOR PARTICIPATION:

2. Fill out an additional form — this is a prerequisite for access to the site's resources.

FORMAT AND PLATFORM:
The development process itself (48 hours) takes place remotely. However, we understand that it is more convenient for some teams to work together offline.

Offline in Astana Hub:
1. Capacity: Up to 50 people at the opening ceremony.

2. Workplaces: We provide access to a computer lab (12 PCs) upon prior request.

3. Reservation: The number of seats is limited. Priority is given to those who previously applied through the registration form.

ONLINE FORMAT:
1. Broadcast: For those who cannot attend in person, a stream of the opening ceremony will be available (the link and announcement of the broadcast will be on Telegram and Discord).
2. Discord: A platform for remote collaboration, discussion, team search, and online communication.
