OpenUniversity in Astana Hub. From a 2D sketch to a finished 3D model: a hands-on immersion in Autodesk Maya
Do you want to learn how to create 3D graphics, but are intimidated by complex interfaces? In our offline master class, we will show that you can start modeling structurally and without unnecessary stress.
In one lesson, we will master the professional method of contour polygonal modeling by reference (poly-by-poly). Instead of a long lecture, we'll go straight to practice.: You will learn how to use the Create Polygon tool to "outline" a flat drawing step by step, building a regular and clean 3D grid from scratch to transform it into a complex three-dimensional shape.
Shermukhammad Rakhmetov, a finalist in the WorldSkills 3D Modeling Championship, will share his experience. Under his guidance, you will be able to avoid the typical mistakes of beginners, get acquainted with a competent pipeline in Maya and take with you a clear understanding of how professional models are created.
