Astana Hub is actively looking for a Music Workshop Leader at the TUMO Center in Astana. TUMO is an innovative center for continuing education, which allows teenagers to independently pave the way for learning. Founded in 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia, TUMO has since expanded worldwide, opening centers in Berlin, Paris, Lisbon and other cities. At the TUMO Astana Center, students choose from a variety of interdisciplinary fields, including animation, 3D modeling, programming, robotics, cinematography, graphic design, music, game development, drawing and photography, combining independent study with workshops conducted by professionals.

TUMO's mission is to unlock the full potential of learning in the world by providing innovative educational resources accessible to everyone.

Music Workshop Leader will conduct workshops, mentor teenagers and evaluate their work in the field of digital music creation. You will inspire students between the ages of 12 and 18 to explore music production, composition, and sound design, helping to develop both technical and creative abilities.

The key task of Music Workshop Leader is to organize and conduct workshops on digital music, guide teenagers in mastering music production, composition and sound design, monitor attendance and progress, ensuring systematic support and successful completion of their educational program.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting music workshops for a month in accordance with established curricula.
- Evaluation of students' projects at the end of each master class with constructive feedback.
- Weekly analysis of students' self-study progress and provision of personalized support.
- Conducting demonstrations that arouse interest and help to explore digital music production.
- Creating a friendly, vibrant and inclusive educational environment.
- Participation in the initial training at the TUMO headquarters in Yerevan, Armenia.
- Performing other tasks, if necessary, related to conducting workshops and supporting the center's program.

Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in music or a related field (Master's degree is welcome), or equivalent professional experience of at least three years.
- Excellent command of Logic Pro.
- Experience creating compositions using MIDI controllers, samples, synthesizers and effects.
- Knowledge of the basics of music theory: chords, scales, rhythms, melody, harmony.
- Audio editing and sound design skills.
- Owning other digital audio stations (DAWs), such as Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, will be an advantage.
- Skills in working with audio interfaces, microphones, headphones, monitors and other studio equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, oral and presentation speech in Kazakh and Russian; knowledge of English at least B1 is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- A portfolio with projects.
