Lead Data Engineer / Data Hub Architect
Main functional responsibilities:
1. Designing the architecture of the Company's corporate Data Hub.
2. Development and implementation of a data warehouse (Data Warehouse / Lakehouse).
3. Organization of data integration processes from the information systems of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other government agencies.
4. Customization ETL/ELT processes for loading, transforming, and cleaning data.
5. Development and implementation of a data model (Core DWH, Data Marts).
6. Data Quality assurance, formation of rules for validation and integrity control.
7. Implementation of data access control mechanisms (RBAC, RLS), auditing and logging settings.
8. Preparation of data storefronts for business intelligence systems (Power BI / Qlik and others BI-tools).
9. Development of technical documentation on the Data Hub architecture and data processing processes.
10. Participation in the formation of the Data Governance policy and the monetization model of access to analytical data.
11. Interaction with government agencies and external data providers on integration issues.
Ensuring compliance of the architecture with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of informatization and information security.
Qualification requirements:
1. Higher education in information technology, applied mathematics, data analysis, or related fields.
2. Work experience in the field of DWH / Data Lake / Lakehouse architecture design, development and implementation of data warehouses for at least 5 years.
3. Proficiency in SQL (advanced level), Python.
4. Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle).
5. Experience building ETL/ELT processes (Airflow, dbt, Prefect or similar tools).
6. Knowledge of the principles of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault).
7. Understanding the principles of information security, access control, and auditing user actions.
8. Experience in preparing data for BI tools (Power BI, Qlik or analogues).
9. Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of informatization and information protection (preferably).
