Quantori is seeking a scientific expert with a blend of technical proficiency, business analysis, and strong communication skills who can bridge the gap between scientific data management tools and effective user training in complex research environments.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and conducting training sessions, ideally within academic, research, or industry settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effectively engaging diverse audiences.

· Familiar with Genedata Screener API, including hands-on experience with its primary use cases, enabling automation and optimization of data management tasks.

· Practical knowledge of the Genedata Screener User Interface (UI) and how it’s applied in the pharmaceutical environment.

· Understanding of common Genedata Screener integrations with other systems used in data analysis, project management, and laboratory information management.

· Comprehensive understanding of general use cases for Genedata Screener within pharmaceutical and research workflows, enabling effective training and troubleshooting for end-users.

· Experience in gathering, analyzing, and translating business and scientific requirements into actionable solutions, enhancing efficiency in data workflows and lab processes.

· Demonstrated ability to swiftly identify and bridge gaps in requirements through Proof of Concept (PoC) integrations, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving in high-paced environments.

· Skilled in liaising with cross-functional teams, from scientists to IT professionals, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives.

Requirements

Advanced degree (PhD) in fields related to laboratory sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline is highly desirable. Or hands on experience in a modern lab.

Proficiency in Python scripting, with the capability to develop scripts for specific tasks and enhance data workflows. A higher level of proficiency in Python is a plus.

UNIX/Linux Support Engineer(EST)

Brief Description

We are looking for a UNIX/Linux Support Engineer to provide comprehensive operational support for our enterprise's mixed UNIX/Linux infrastructure. This infrastructure includes RHEL, Ubuntu, AIX, HP-UX, and Solaris systems hosted on Dell, IBM, and Cisco UCS hardware, as well as VMware ESX, OpenShift, RStudio, GPFS, and LSF environments. The remote engineer will focus on resolving approximately 85% of incidents without the need for physical access, collaborating with on-site staff for hardware tasks and escalations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve alerts via ServiceNow and TrueSight for Linux/Unix and virtualized systems.  
  • Troubleshoot filesystem, CPU, memory, swap, and agent issues.  
  • Execute approved standard changes such as service restarts, configuration updates, and agent reinstalls. 
  • Perform health checks and first-level troubleshooting for GPFS, LSF, OpenShift, and RStudio environments. 
  • Use Ansible Tower and Red Hat Satellite for patching and configuration management.  
  • Maintain and improve automation scripts and reporting tools for recurring operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with the on-site team and L3 SMEs for escalated or hardware-dependent incidents. 
  • Participate in the on-call rotation approximately once per month, providing after-hours support for high-priority incidents. 
  • Escalate and coordinate tasks with L3 Support Engineers.
  • Ensure ServiceNow tickets and incident bridges are properly updated during off-hours events. 

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting RHEL 6–9 and Ubuntu 20/22/24 in production environments, including patching, monitoring, and incident response.  
  • Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, GPFS, and LSF, and working knowledge of OpenShift and RStudio services.  
  • Strong understanding of Ansible Tower, Red Hat Satellite, Puppet, and shell scripting. 
  • Experience with ServiceNow, TrueSight, and PATROL for monitoring and ITSM processes. 
  • Solid grasp of Linux networking and remote troubleshooting practices in large enterprise environments. 
  • 3–5 years of experience in Linux/Unix support within enterprise environments. 
  • RHCSA and/or ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within remote, structured support operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • EST availability
  •  Familiarity with AIX and other Unix platforms (HP-UX, Solaris).
