Participants of the Fourth Wave of Google for Startups and Astana Hub Joint Program Announced

The Silkway Accelerator program, a collaboration between Google for Startups and Astana Hub, continues to support young IT entrepreneurs from Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.


A total of 197 applications were submitted for participation in the fourth wave of the Silkway Accelerator from startups aiming to develop innovations and implement technological solutions in the market. Out of these, 15 best projects from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan were selected.

The following projects made it to the final, as decided by a special commission consisting of experts from Central Asian countries and representatives of Google for Startups:

  • ARLAN BIOTECH - SaaS AI/ML models for forecasting highly specific synthetic nanotell-sequences for a selected antigen (Kazakhstan).
  • Care Pay LLC - Fintech solution that aims to provide equal, accessible medical services for all (Mongolia).
  • Cleek.kz - Service for quick personnel and job search (Kazakhstan).
  • Dalatech Systems - Platform that optimizes the agricultural product sales chain through aggregation using digital technologies (Uzbekistan).
  • Gram - Mobile application that allows users to easily and conveniently order taxis, set the departure and arrival location, choose the type of vehicle, and know the estimated cost of the trip (Tajikistan).
  • Growave - Universal marketing software that helps small and medium-sized online stores retain customers and create compelling social proof (Kyrgyzstan).
  • Metacog Metrics - Staff hiring process using gamification (Mongolia).
  • Metaland Metaverse - All real communication and services in the virtual world (Mongolia).
  • Mystory - Personalized gift service based on AI, creating individual stories where the recipient is the main character (Kyrgyzstan).
  • OILA - Educational application for children aged 5 to 9 with a variety of interactive content and educational games (Kazakhstan).
  • Proxymeta Labs - The first automated smart contract solutions for WEB3 projects (Georgia).
  • Python RPA - Software for codeless automation of routine processes, designed for managed service providers and system integrators working with SMB clients (Kazakhstan).
  • Tastamat - Simple and convenient service for delivering goods and parcels (Kazakhstan).
  • TezTok - Advanced charging stations for electric vehicles (Uzbekistan).
  • ZebraEye – Medical software based on artificial intelligence for diagnosing rare eye diseases that are difficult to detect (Kazakhstan).

As part of the Silkway 2023 program, Astana Hub will provide free accommodation for two team members during the program, visa support for international participants, as well as training and mentorship from Google for Startups and Astana Hub.

It's worth noting that Kazakhstan remains the first and only country in Central Asia where an accelerator has been launched jointly with the global company Google for Startups. Considering the effectiveness and high performance of the previous two waves of the Silkway Accelerator joint program, Google for Startups has decided to continue its exclusive partnership with Astana Hub in 2023.
