Problem description

Companies and their partners regularly issue waybills (TTN) in the state information system ESUTD (esutd.gov.kz ). Currently, registration, approval and maintenance of TTN is carried out manually by users through the system's web interface. At the same time, the information necessary for the formation of the TTN (sender, recipient, carrier, cargo characteristics, addresses, routes, and other data) is already contained in the corporate information system. Users have to re-enter the same information and manually accompany the document approval process between all participants in the transportation. The open documentation does not describe the API for software integration with the ECUTD, which significantly complicates the automation of this process.

Expected effect

Reducing the time required to issue waybills. Exclusion of repeated data entry. Reducing the number of errors when filling out documents. Automation of the business process of interaction between the shipper, the carrier and the recipient. Increase the speed of transportation processing and transparency of the status of transport documents. The ability to scale the solution to a large number of partners and carriers.

Purpose and description of task (project)

To develop a technological solution that ensures the integration of the corporate information system with the state system of the ECUTD for the automated formation and maintenance of electronic waybills. As part of the project, it is necessary to: explore the existing mechanisms of interaction with the EUTD and identify possible ways of integration in the absence of a public API; implement automatic creation of TTN based on the data already available in the information system; to ensure the launch of the document approval process between the shipper, the carrier and the recipient; provide for the receipt and processing of document status at all stages of the life cycle; provide an opportunity for further integration development when an official API or other interaction mechanisms become available.

Note

A solution using formal integration mechanisms with the EU is preferable. In the absence of a documented API, it is necessary to conduct a study of the existing technical possibilities for interacting with the system and propose an architectural solution that provides reliable, secure and scalable automation of the process of forming and maintaining electronic consignment notes.
