Problem description

At the moment, the QlikSense system is used to generate analytics and visualize data. The main problem is the inexpediency of maintaining an expensive license for a proprietary BI system in order to use a limited pool of dashboards.

Expected effect

Cost Reduction: Complete elimination of regular payments for QlikSense licenses (or similar BI systems). Technological independence: Obtaining ownership of a ready-made analytics module that can be refined and scaled with internal resources without regard to the limitations of third-party licenses. Seamless integration: Direct interaction of the frontend part with the current PostgreSQL database (Frappe), which will ensure that the data is up-to-date in real-time (Real-time analytics). Improving the user experience: Providing management and managers with a simple, fast and intuitive tool for monitoring planned and actual installation work.

Purpose and description of task (project)

The goal: To create our own lightweight frontend solution (analytical dashboard) for monitoring key profitability indicators of projects without using expensive third-party BI systems. Description: It is necessary to develop a user interface (frontend) with customized data visualization, which will directly receive information from a PostgreSQL database running the Frappe Framework (ERPNext). The following key metrics should be displayed on the dashboard in terms of projects/facilities: - The amount of income and expenses for installation work. - The cost of materials. - Comparison of planned and actual amounts (plan-factual analysis). - Additional deductions and fines. - General summary of profitability (marginality). The solution should include convenient filters (by dates, projects, items of expenditure) and graphs (charts, tables) for visual representation of data.
