The course “STEM, Robotics and Project-Based Learning through FIRST LEGO League” is designed for educators, mentors, and robotics coaches interested in developing students’ modern technological competencies. The programme introduces participants to the fundamentals of STEM education, educational robotics, engineering design, and programming, while exploring contemporary approaches to project-based and inquiry-based learning. Participants gain hands-on experience with LEGO Education solutions, learn to program robotic devices, and apply algorithms to solve practical challenges. Special emphasis is placed on developing engineering, computational, and critical thinking skills, as well as fostering teamwork. The course is built around the international FIRST LEGO League framework, enabling participants to apply their knowledge in both project-based and competitive settings. Upon completion, participants will be able to integrate STEM and educational robotics into their teaching practice, implement technology-driven projects, and mentor FIRST LEGO League teams.

Special condition

To successfully complete the course, participants must have access to a personal computer or laptop with an Internet connection. For certain practical assignments, it is recommended to install the LEGO Education SPIKE and LEGO Studio software. Student Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; The course is intended for educators, trainers, mentors, club leaders, and professionals interested in the development of STEM education and educational robotics; No prior background in robotics or programming is required; Basic computer literacy and familiarity with internet resources and office applications are recommended; Participants should have an opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in educational settings, extracurricular clubs, supplementary education centres, or while mentoring FIRST LEGO League teams. Course Fee: 700,000 KZT Of this amount, 400,000 KZT is covered by the Tech Orda voucher, while the remaining 300,000 KZT is paid by the participant. The participant's contribution may be paid in one of the following ways: a one-time payment upon enrolment; or in 6 equal monthly instalments of 50,000 KZT each, starting from the month the course begins. No deposits, security payments, or advance payments beyond the stated amount are required. There are no hidden fees. Students from the Waitlist may be admitted within one month from the official course start date.
