Practical Humanoid Robotics on Unitree G1” is a 26-week course in which students learn from scratch how to work with a real humanoid robot, starting with basic Linux skills and progressing to launching their own control programs on real hardware. The program covers the full classical robotics stack: installation and work with the Unitree SDK, simulation in MuJoCo, the theory and practice of locomotion (gait, kinematics, balance), control of 7-DOF arms and hands, as well as the integration of sensors — IMU, LiDAR, RGB-D cameras and audio. Each topic is built according to the sim-to-real principle: first, the concept is practiced in a simulator, and then deployed on the real Unitree G1 robot under the guidance of mentors. The course is designed for beginners — no programming experience is required, instruction is conducted in Russian, and the format combines pre-recorded lectures with mandatory offline laboratories. Upon completion of the course, the student defends a capstone project on a real robot, receives the qualification of Junior Robotics Engineer, and is ready to proceed to an advanced course on VLA, Isaac Sim and ROS2.

Special condition

Special conditions: The course fee is 700,000 tenge: 400,000 tenge is covered by the Tech Orda voucher, and the remaining 300,000 tenge is paid by the student. Additional payment can be made in two ways: a lump sum upon enrollment or in six equal installments of 50,000 tenge at the beginning of each month, starting from the month the course starts. Deposits, security deposits, and advance payments beyond the stated amount are not required; there are no hidden fees. Waitlist students are accepted within one month of the course start date once places become available from the main cohort of students who withdraw from the program. The selection criteria and payment terms for these students are the same as for the main cohort.

Skills

Upon completing the course, the student is able to safely operate the Unitree G1 humanoid robot, program it through the official SDK, and transfer solutions from the MuJoCo simulator to real hardware according to the sim-to-real principle. The student masters classical methods of locomotion and manipulation — forward and inverse kinematics of the legs and 7-DOF arms, trajectory generation, gait analysis, hand control and teleoperation. The student is able to integrate the robot’s built-in sensors (IMU, LiDAR, RGB-D camera, audio) and apply computer vision, including object detection through YOLO. The student also masters the engineering toolkit of robotics — Linux, Python, Git, CycloneDDS and the basics of ROS2 — and confirms these skills by defending a capstone project on a real robot with the qualification of Junior Robotics Engineer.
