IT Analyst

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops
• Collect and analyze the project's business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team
• Develop system guidelines and manuals
• Effectively communicate relevant information to company management
• Review and/or prepare system documentation and specifications
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible IT/business solutions
• Facilitate requirements prioritization based on business value
• Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project
• Manage changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools
• Test the developed functionality
• Perform data analysis using SQL and other tools as necessary
• Perform relevant ad-hoc duties as required/necessary

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE 

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field;
• Master’s degree in Computer science will be an advantage;
• Relevant professional certifications and/or qualifications will be an advantage (SCRUM/AGILE/PMP);
• Traceable portfolio projects with demonstrated relevant documents will be an advantage.

Minimum Experience

5+ years of work experience in IT system analysis (out of them 2+ years of Governmental IT system analysis)

Associate/Senior Associate IT Division (Scrum Master)

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
• Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
• Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
• Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
• Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
• Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.
• Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
• Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
• Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

Scrum Master Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science and/or STEM disciplines;
• Master’s degree in Computer science will be an advantage;
• Relevant professional certifications and/or qualifications will be an advantage (SCRUM/AGILE/IIBA PMP, and others);
• Portfolio of projects with demonstrated relevant documents will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of agile methodology, instruments/software and techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Excellent people and project management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Experience

3+ years of work experience in IT where at least 2 years of experience in a role of scrum master (additional experience as an IT analyst/Developer will be an advantage)
