Hub Connect – A Community Gathering for the IT Community of the Mangystau Region

On July 18, Hub Connect will bring together residents of Astana Hub and Mangystau Hub for a unique community gathering.

Hub Connect is a platform that unites the IT community of the Mangystau region. The event aims to strengthen professional connections, encourage knowledge sharing, foster new partnerships, and contribute to the development of the region's technology ecosystem.

We invite leaders, public servants of local executive bodies, and specialists from regional IT departments to participate in a training seminar dedicated to the key aspects of information security in the public sector.

About the Event:

Participating in this seminar will help raise the level of digital hygiene within departments, analyze current threat cases of 2026 (including AI-driven and deepfake attacks, as well as smart city infrastructure risks), and practice defense and incident response algorithms during an interactive session.

This is a practice-oriented course of lectures and seminars on introduction to machine learning, where we will understand the basics and popular algorithms. Everything is provided with examples, explanations and the opportunity to ask questions right during the lesson.

July 20th: Introduction to data analysis, linear models and their application

July 21st:  Decision trees, ensembles based on trees

July 22nd: Fundamentals of neural networks, application of neutron networks to various tasks
