Since its launch in 2024, AI’preneurs has received more than 950 applications from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. Startups from the first batch managed to attract over $350,000 in investment, demonstrating the accelerator’s effectiveness.
Opening Day served not only as the symbolic start of a new stage but also as a meeting point for graduates and newcomers of the program. Alumni of previous batches — Maksim Belyakov (Ateam), Venera Baizhigitova and Madi Nurmanov (stiker.ai), Alibek Abdekov (avm.ai), and Zakirzhan Aysabayev (re:create) — shared their success stories and experience. Their talks inspired the new batch and reaffirmed that strong ideas can reach the market and capture investor interest.

“Results from the second batch confirmed that the AI’preneurs program is truly effective, and the momentum continues to grow. We are seeing significant qualitative progress among the teams, and we are confident that the third batch will set the bar even higher. The program helps turn ideas into products quickly and successfully bring them to market. Our goal is to attract more IT talent and bring their projects to the global stage,” said Yerbol Akhmetov, Director of Business Programs Office at Astana Hub.
AI’preneurs received 350 applications for the third batch, of which 70 were selected. Over the next three months, participants will work in an intensive format, completing educational modules, one-on-one consultations with experts, and hands-on workshops. The program is structured in three stages: team formation and role distribution, idea validation and pitch sessions before the Investment Committee, followed by product development and preparation for Demo Day. The accelerator will culminate in final presentations to venture funds and corporations.

The program targets not only developers and engineers but also a wide range of professionals — analysts, marketers, designers, PR and business developers, as well as product, project and sales managers. AI’preneurs thereby creates a full ecosystem for teams, offering space for each specialist to apply their skills and collaboratively develop a competitive AI product.
Astana Hub continues to strengthen its position as the region’s leading innovation platform, creating conditions for the growth of technology-driven projects. AI’preneurs has already served as a springboard for dozens of AI startups, and with the launch of its third batch, new opportunities are opening up for the development and scaling of ideas that can shape the future of the industry.
