Bagdat Musin spoke about how Kazakhstan will become the largest IT-country in Central Asia
One the first day of the forum, a panel session was held on the topic “Kazakhstan – an IT country”, where special attention was paid to the integration of IT solutions into the everyday life of citizens and the analysis of professions of the future in the context of digitalization of the economy of Kazakhstan. Speaking at this panel session, Bagdat Musin spoke about how Kazakhstan will become the largest IT country in Central Asia.
In his speech Minister of Digitalization Bagdat Musin noted that today the country is demonstrating impressive achievements in the field of digitalization, focusing on the development of infrastructure, digital government, innovation and personnel training. He emphasized that these efforts make Kazakhstan a successful country in the field of digital development in Central Asia.
“The Forum actively promotes the development of the IT industry in Kazakhstan, attracting foreign investment and large international companies, which in turn has a positive effect on the country’s economic statistics in the IT sector,” noted the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin.
The session was also attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Vice President and Regional Manager of Visa in Central Asia and Azerbaijan Kristina Dorosh, head and co-founder of Kaspi.kz Mikhail Lomtadze, Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp. Timur Turlov. Experts and industry leaders reviewed current issues of development of the IT sector in the country, discussed the investment climate, assessed the potential and prospects for the development of startups, and touched upon issues of government regulation in the field of digital technologies.
Digital Bridge 2023 brought together over 300 IT companies, more than 100 investors, 400 speakers from all over the world and business angels, more than 100 startups from 30 countries. At the fair, about 500 vacancies were offered from local and foreign IT companies in the field of information technology, data science, blockchain and others.
Let us remind you that on October 12-13, the capital of Kazakhstan hosted Digital Bridge 2023, the largest IT forum in Central Asia. The main topic of the forum is a discussion of the role of artificial intelligence in the modern world – Artificialand human intelligence: The Right Balance.
