Delegation of the Ministry of Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Astana Hub Technopark
The guests noted that the countries are actively cooperating in the field of information technology and supporting IT start-ups.
Recall that in December last year, the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Nur-Sultan took place. The heads of the two states discussed issues of scientific and innovative activities. "Uzbekistan is not only a good neighbor and an important partner, but also a fraternal state with which we are connected by common roots and a common destiny. A strategic partnership is successfully developing between our countries," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized.
Specialists of the two countries exchange experience on an ongoing basis in the field of introducing artificial intelligence into public services. Thus, startups from Kazakhstan Adapt and MePost attracted investments in 2021 and entered the markets of Uzbekistan.
Virdavs Nematzoda, head of the department for working with talented youth, noted that today a Memorandum of Cooperation between Astana Hub and the Ministry of Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been developed. This will provide additional support to the developers of start-up projects in both countries and expand the opportunities for interaction. So, this summer Tashkent will host an IT startup competition, where it is planned to attract Kazakhstani experts.
Employees of Astana Hub conducted an introductory tour of the technopark and alem school for guests, told about the activities of local startups and hub support programs.
