This year’s event will be held under the banner of Generative Nation, a concept reflecting Kazakhstan’s strategic course toward building a knowledge-driven society grounded in advanced technologies and human capital development.
One of the key guests will be Omar Al Olama, the UAE’s Minister of Artificial Intelligence. Since 2017, he has overseen the development of the nation’s digital technology policy. In 2023, Time included him in the Time100 AI list of the most influential people in artificial intelligence in the “Shapers” category. His expertise in shaping national digital strategies and fostering international cooperation will be a valuable contribution to the discussions at Digital Bridge 2025.
The conversation about the future of artificial intelligence will continue with Kai-Fu Lee, one of the most prominent futurists of our time. Founder of the venture fund Sinovation Ventures and CEO of 01.AI, he previously headed Google China and helped establish Microsoft Research Asia. His book AI 2041 became a global bestseller, and he will personally share his vision of how AI is transforming our tomorrow.
Insights into how technology is reshaping the global economy will be provided by Ilya Strebulaev, professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research on venture capital is widely cited by major international publications, and his work demonstrates how scientific ideas become the foundation of global business.
The forum in Astana will go beyond traditional themes. Legendary English footballer Sol Campbell, who earned 73 caps for the national team and played for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, will discuss the use of artificial intelligence in sports.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet giants of computer science. Peter Norvig, co-author of Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach, former Director of Research at Google and former head of NASA’s Ames Research Center, will discuss key directions in AI development. John Hopcroft, Turing Award laureate and professor at Cornell University, will share his views on the future of algorithms and computer science.
Digital Bridge has already established itself as the largest IT event eagerly anticipated not only by professionals and the tech community of Kazakhstan, but the entire region.
