The agreements bring together government institutions, investment funds, and innovative companies, creating a platform for talent development, the implementation of advanced technologies, and the stimulation of the national startup ecosystem.
One of the most significant agreements is a trilateral partnership between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alageum Electric, and the Endowment Fund for Science and Education. The initiative is aimed at implementing the AI-Sana program, which will enhance the competencies of students, master’s, and doctoral-level specialists in technical fields through the practical application of artificial intelligence. This approach opens new opportunities for training professionals in demand within the digital technology market.
Continuing the education-focused agenda, JSC “Astana Innovations” signed two memorandums. The first agreement with MOST Ventures Fund II is aimed at strengthening cooperation in new technologies, innovative solutions, and scientific research, including artificial intelligence projects. The second partnership with the Center for International Programs focuses on training specialists in AI and digitalization, further strengthening the country’s educational and professional capacity.
The technological component of the forum was reinforced through cooperation between Astana Innovations and NCSPEECH LLP, which provides for the creation and joint use of datasets for the development of AI projects. This step will accelerate the deployment of intelligent services and technologies at the national level.
Special attention was given to the development of technological entrepreneurship and venture financing. Baiterek National Managing Holding signed a memorandum with the international innovation cluster Astana Hub, aimed at long-term cooperation. The partnership provides for startup support, expanded access to investment instruments, and increased export potential of Kazakhstani IT companies, creating a foundation for a sustainable innovation ecosystem.
A memorandum was also signed between Astana Hub and EmAI LLP, focused on establishing the Health Tech Lab HAQ and advancing digital healthcare, telemedicine, and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in Kazakhstan. The initiative is aimed at building a sustainable digital healthcare ecosystem and promoting the adoption of AI-driven medical solutions within the national healthcare system.
The remaining memorandums also cover key areas ranging from the implementation of AI in industry to strengthening educational initiatives, forming a comprehensive platform for digital transformation and the preparation of qualified specialists.
