Network School Kazakhstan, an international technology community bringing together entrepreneurs, engineers, researchers, and technology product builders from around the world, has officially launched in Kazakhstan.
The official launch took place at the Alem.ai International Center for Artificial Intelligence in Astana, with the participation of Zhaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Astana Hub international innovation cluster; the Astana International Financial Centre; Superteam Kazakhstan; and representatives of the country’s technology community.
Network School Kazakhstan will serve as a bridge between the global technology ecosystem and Kazakhstan’s talented professionals. The project aims to attract international entrepreneurs, engineers, and technology teams to the country while creating new opportunities for Kazakhstani specialists—from education and professional collaboration to product development and company building.
Network School was founded by Balaji Srinivasan, a technology entrepreneur and investor, former Chief Technology Officer of Coinbase, former General Partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, and author of The Network State.

Network School introduces a new format for an international community, bringing living, working, learning, and technology project development together in a single environment. Participants gain access to workspaces, educational programs, sports facilities, events, and an international network of professionals.
The project is also designed for technology companies and teams. Network School can host conferences, hackathons, working sessions, and long-term team programs. A dedicated offering is also available for families with children, enabling participants to combine professional activities, learning, and family life.
The launch of Network School Kazakhstan marks a continuation of cooperation between the project and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The parties previously signed a memorandum of cooperation in artificial intelligence, innovation, technology entrepreneurship, and human capital development.
Kazakhstan was selected as the launch destination due to its strong engineering talent, modern digital infrastructure, and consistent efforts to develop an ecosystem for technology entrepreneurs and international companies.
Network School Kazakhstan will develop educational and entrepreneurial programs, host international conferences and hackathons, support technology teams, and help attract global talent, companies, and investment to the country.
In the long term, the project could become a platform for testing new models of international technology communities that combine the digital economy with physical infrastructure. The launch of Network School complements Kazakhstan’s strategic commitment to advancing artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and global technology entrepreneurship.
