Key Agreements of Astana Hub at Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day

At the Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day, held as part of the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation, Astana Hub signed several significant memorandums and agreements aimed at fostering the IT ecosystem, improving IT education in artificial intelligence, and supporting regional IT hubs.

One of the key agreements was a memorandum between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana Hub. This initiative will launch new educational courses for teachers of technical universities in areas such as game development and artificial intelligence (AI). These courses aim to enhance the qualifications of teachers and offer expanded opportunities for students in these fields.

Astana Hub also signed cooperation agreements with various organizations, including the Tourism Department of Akmola Region, KazPhosphat LLP, Atyrau University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov, and West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov. These agreements focus on developing startups, organizing joint events, and supporting incubation programs and startup projects that contribute to the growth of regional IT hubs such as Aqmola Hub, Zhambyl Hub, Atyrau Hub, and Aktobe IT Hub.

From September 3 to 5, 2024, the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation was held in Kazakhstan’s capital, bringing together more than 400 delegates from 30 countries. Organized by UNESCAP and MDDIAI, the conference served as a crucial platform for discussing digitalization and sustainable development.

Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day, a part of this conference, was sponsored by the leading Kazakhstan's tech company Kaspi.kz, with support from the innovative digital bank Freedom Bank and the global platform for transport and urban services, inDrive.
