QazTrade and Astana Hub will jointly promote IT services for export

QazTrade and the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of promoting domestic IT developments to foreign markets, as well as developing e-commerce in Kazakhstan.


The signing took place at the site of the IV meeting of the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable - "Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable" (KGIR 2021), dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, one of the areas of cooperation will be joint work on the development of e-commerce in Kazakhstan.

Since 2017, the event has been held annually under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and has established itself as an effective dialogue platform between the state and the international business community.

To date, QazTrade has begun work to support export-oriented IT projects. This year, 10 IT companies are participating in the export acceleration program, which have passed the scoring selection of international experts and have the highest export potential to enter the markets of the UAE and Uzbekistan. Of these, 7 companies intend to enter the UAE market.

At the EXPO Dubai-2020 site, the participation of 4 Kazakhstani companies was ensured and their export potential was presented - Faceplate, Parqour, Webtotem, Cerebra.

Webtotem was recommended to work with UAE B2G – Ecert and the UAE Ministry of Digitalization.

For Parqour, a meeting was organized with a potential partner in the UAE market, there are pilot projects for the conclusion with several objects.
