100 startups competed for the victory, but only 10 reached the final. The capital startup turned out to be in the top three and, in addition to the cash prize, got the opportunity to undergo incubation at Jas Venture Almaty.

SULU is a fintech platform that allows you to make online payments without opening a bank account using its own SULU PAY payment system.

The CEO of the company is Ruslan Yerketaev, a businessman with 15 years of experience, founder of startups SULU, Taxi5+ and SRC. The head of strategy and business development of the startup is Dilara Tulenova, winner of Smart City Almaty from Centras Ventures, mentor of the Ozgeris business incubation for schoolchildren. The team also employs six developers and four marketers.

The team has developed an ecosystem of the beauty industry, which unites beauty salons, plastic surgery clinics and dentistry. As of today, SULU's first digital product, online recording, is already in operation. In a short time, the startup managed to reach agreements with 10 partners. The next step is the SULU PAY payment system for making online payments within the ecosystem.

In addition, the startup got into the community Playbook of venture funds and investors from Plug and Play Ventures in Silicon Valley. Thanks to this platform, the guys had the opportunity to reach Silicon Valley investors, as well as access to local and virtual premises.

“We have a strategic analysis (CustDev) and a business model for monetizing a startup. Currently, we are looking for investments to enter the markets of the USA, Turkey and Singapore,” Dilara Tulenova notes.

The guys plan to spend part of the grant received on promoting the SULU system: sales department and targeted advertising, the other part - on paying for a server for the smooth operation of the application and CRM system
