Registration is free and open on the Astana Hub platform until 11 September via the link.
For the first time, the event is being held with the support of the global Solana Superteam community, marking a key milestone in the development of the country’s blockchain ecosystem. Solana Superteam KZ is Kazakhstan’s community within the Solana ecosystem — a global network of developers, founders, and builders creating products and solutions on the Solana blockchain.
The total prize pool of the hackathon is $20,000. At the heart of the event is the blockchain track, where teams will build projects within the Solana ecosystem. Participants will be able to develop blockchain-based solutions and other innovative products on one of the fastest blockchain platforms in the world. Anyone aged 18 and above can participate, from students to professional developers.
“Organizing the first Solana Day by Decentrathon in the region is not just an event but a strategic initiative. We are convinced of the strong potential among local developers and entrepreneurs and aim to demonstrate their readiness to enter the global stage. Hosting Solana Day will allow Kazakhstan to formally establish its position within the Solana ecosystem,” said Talgat Dossanov, Head of Superteam KZ, the official representative of the global Solana Community in Kazakhstan.
The partnership with BAITC highlights the importance of developing blockchain as a strategically significant sector of Kazakhstan’s digital economy, while the involvement of Astana Hub provides participants with access to modern technological infrastructure and the expertise of the country’s leading IT hub.
“We are pleased to support the Solana ecosystem and the launch of the first Superteam in Central Asia. Decentrathon is the only tech event in Kazakhstan that spans all regions of the country, and it is important for us to contribute to the development of such a large-scale initiative,” noted Aidana Kaskyrbek, CEO & Founder of BAITC.
The winners of Solana Day will be recognized on Kazakhstan’s main technology stage — at the Digital Bridge 2025 forum. The top teams will gain not only national recognition but also a unique opportunity to present their projects at the global Solana hackathon. This will allow them to showcase their work to a broader audience and attract the attention of potential investors, partners, and employers.
The hackathon is designed not only to identify the strongest blockchain projects but also to foster a robust Web3 developer community in the region. The event will serve as a launchpad for building a sustainable Solana-based innovation ecosystem in Central Asia.
