The VII International Digital Almaty Forum Concludes with a Grand Award Ceremony

The VII International Digital Almaty Forum has officially wrapped up in Almaty. The highlight of the final day was the prestigious award ceremony recognizing winners of competitions in innovation and digital technologies.


One of the most anticipated events was the Industrial AI Battle, a competition that offered startups a unique opportunity to present their solutions to Kazakhstan’s largest enterprises, launch pilot projects, attract investors, and establish key business connections. Out of 200 applications, 15 top AI startups made it to the finals. The projects were evaluated by a panel of professional judges, including representatives from government agencies, venture investors, industry leaders, and business mentors.

Robotics Championship for Children

Another major highlight was the Robotics Championship for children, where four top teams from Kazakhstan secured the opportunity to represent the country in international competitions and shared a total prize pool of KZT 2 million.

  • 1st place – Sana BIL (Almaty), KZT 1,000,000
  • 2nd place – Point, School No. 208 (Almaty), KZT 500,000
  • 3rd place – PID, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology (Almaty), KZT 300,000
  • 4th place – Jeltoqsun, "Murager" School (Karaganda), KZT 200,000

The championship was organized by the USTEM Foundation, which has supported Kazakhstan’s robotics teams in winning the FIRST Global Challenge three times – in Geneva (2022), Singapore (2023), and Athens (2024).

Digital Almaty Multi-Drone Championship (MDC)

The event also concluded with the Digital Almaty Multi-Drone Championship (MDC), held under the auspices of FIDA (International Drone Football Federation). Winners received valuable prizes and the opportunity to join Kazakhstan’s national team for upcoming FIDA international tournaments.
