Astana Hub participated in the meeting of Economic Ministers of the Turkic Council

On September 9-10, 2021 the International Technopark of IT startups "Astana Hub" took part in the 12th meeting of the working group on economic cooperation and also in the meeting of ministers of economy of the Turkic Council in Baku, Azerbaijan.

During the meeting of the working group on September 9, Astana Hub had the opportunity to share and talk about their experiences in the development of the startup ecosystem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The presented experience aroused the interest of the member states of the Council, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Hungary. 

On September 27-28, a delegation of the Council member states visited Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by employees of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, the National Info-Communication Holding "Zerde", Astana Hub, JSC "National Information Technologies", Astana IT University, "Astana Innovations", NAO "Government for Citizens". The purpose of the visit was to demonstrate Kazakhstan's experience in innovative solutions in the field of electronic public services and the development of digitalization.

As such, Astana Hub actively promotes the Scalerator program - an acceleration program to increase the export of IT services and tech products. This IT business scaling program is a free program for IT companies from Kazakhstan, which will help enter new markets and conclude contracts with companies in America, Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia.

The Turkic Council, established on October 3, 2009, is an international organization that brings together the modern Turkic states and whose main goal is to develop comprehensive cooperation among its member states.
