The development of blockchain and Artificial Intelligence has left VR/AR and the metaverse in the shadows, despite the “hype” for many years. We know many films and anime adaptations dedicated to this topic. Even Mark Zuckerberg himself was so devoted to the idea of ​​​​the metaverse that, in October 2021 he decided to rename the well-known Facebook to Meta.

Today, thanks to Apple, the topic of the metaverse is gaining momentum again. Last year, the company opened new doors for the XR market by introducing a new MR (Mixed-Reality) headset - Apple Vision Pro 🤩.

Apple has already begun migrating existing applications developed for iOS and iPad, and Apple Arcade to the visionOS ecosystem. Moreover, right now Apple is collaborating with numerous media companies and developers to create new content for the headset.

At the moment, Apple has prepared technical documentation, some educational resources, and also plans to hold various meetups and programs for developers.
