GameDev of the new generation: a 15-year-old developer from Kokshetau conquers the industry

15-year-old Danil Miroshnichenko from Kokshetau is no longer just an enthusiastic teenager — he is a real talent in the world of game development. He is currently creating his third Roleplay game, but his achievements don't end there.

Danil became famous for his project Alash RP, which literally blew up the Internet. On the first day after its launch, it gathered 4,500 registrations and attracted hundreds of players from all over Kazakhstan. He is currently actively developing his skills at the regional IT hub Aqmola Hub, where he improves his knowledge and learns from the best.

Since childhood, Danil has been passionate about programming. Already at the age of 7-8, he experimented with installing Telegram bots in Python, and later studied Lua and adapted other people's scripts to suit his needs. At the age of 9, he mastered Node.js and started developing and selling bots.

"I've always been attracted to how the code works from the inside. I loved to dig into programs, disassemble them and create something of my own," says Danil.

At the age of 11, Danil became interested in the gaming industry and began playing on the BLACK RUSSIA server, one of the first CRMP projects. Gradually, he began to occupy various positions on the server, and at the age of 12 he created his first project, WOLF BONUS. However, his audience did not exceed 50 players, and the project was not as successful as we would like.

"I realized that it's not enough to just run the server for success. We need to offer something unique and in demand," says Danil.

Rethinking his approach, Danil launched Alash RP, a Kazakh—themed server. The discovery turned out to be a real sensation:

  • More than 500 players are online at the same time.
  • 1000-1500 players are in line to connect.
  • 4,500 registrations on the first day.
  • 6500 subscribers in Telegram a day before the launch.

The popularity of the project grew rapidly, thanks to cooperation with Kazakhstani bloggers. But despite its success, the project ran into problems due to frequent restarts and was closed.

After the closure of Alash RP, Danil did not give up. He delved into web development, mastered HTML, CSS, PHP, and created several successful cargo tracking websites from China. At the age of 14, he attracted 30 clients and earned 1.5 million tenge in just a month.

At the same time, Danil studied at a programming school, where he gained structured knowledge and developed his skills.

Inspired by previous projects, Danil began working on a new ambitious project, BROLD, which became a reinterpretation of the classic BLACK RUSSIA. Despite the technical difficulties, the project collected 2,700 registrations per day and attracted 50-100 online players, but was also closed.

Today, Danil is actively developing a new project and participates in IT competitions, where he has already won prizes.:

  • Finalist of Decentrathon 2.0 (BLOCKCHAIN + Telegram Mini Apps)
  • 3rd place at the Startup Battle "Digital Aqmola"
  • 3rd place at the Inform Defense Hackathon
  • 2nd place at the AI Traveltech Hackathon

At the moment, Danil owns a number of technologies, including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Dart, Flutter, and basic PAWN knowledge. He is also learning Java and C++ to develop his new project.

"My goal is to create a product that is independent of other people's decisions. This is not just another CRMP project, but something unique," says Danil.

Who knows, perhaps he will become the person who will change the online gaming industry, not only in Kazakhstan, but also beyond its borders. One thing is for sure: this student is worth watching!
