Innovate Taraz: Hackathon for the digital future of Zhambyl region

The Innovate Taraz hackathon was successfully held in Taraz, aimed at developing the region through digital technologies in the fields of tourism, education and business process automation. The event was organized by Zhambyl Hub with the support of the Department of Digitalization and Archives, the Department of Tourism and the Department of Education of the Akimat of Zhambyl region.

The hackathon was attended by 24 teams that worked on innovative solutions for several days. The participants proposed projects that could change key areas of the region's life, and mentors helped them bring their ideas to the first prototypes.

Three teams became the winners of the hackathon,

Project: An AI code compiler that will help students learn programming faster. The system analyzes the written code, suggests errors and recommends improvements, speeding up the learning process. The team has already developed an MVP and is testing the solution in educational institutions, which makes the project as close as possible to real implementation.

Second place – Query

Project: SmartKoz AI is an intelligent video surveillance system with artificial intelligence. The solution allows you to recognize potentially dangerous situations in real time and quickly respond to them, increasing safety in public places and enterprises.

Third place – B Squared U

Project: Mentor Hub is a digital platform connecting mentors and young professionals. The service helps aspiring professionals find experienced mentors, accelerating their career growth and creating conditions for professional development in the region.
